Friday's Foxborough Basketball Games Canceled After OA Student Dies

The Oliver Ames community is mourning the loss of senior Devin Ness, who passed away suddenly Friday morning of a brain aneurysm.

Friday's Foxborough High School basketball games against Oliver Ames have been canceled as the Easton community mourns the death of an OA student that passed away suddenly. Devin Ness, a senior at Oliver Ames High School, tragically died Friday morning of an aneurysm. Ness, who was a captain for the Oliver Ames wrestling team, became suddenly sick Thursday night, according to OA athletic director Bill Matthews. He was taken to the hospital where he passed away. "He did die of an aneurysm," Oliver Ames principal Wes Paul said. "He was dog sitting for his cousins in West Bridgewater. He didn’t feel well and next thing you know he wasn’t doing well at all and they called an ambulance - he went to the hospital. He got brought to Boston Medical…
