Christopher Knight, the 12-year-old boy struck by a landscaping truck on Baker Street while riding his bicycle in August, was released from Tufts Medical Center Thursday as he continues to recover from serious injury.
It is the type of news many in the Foxborough community have been waiting for since Foxborough resident Christopher Knight, 12, was Medflighted to Tufts Medical Center on Aug. 27 after being struck by a landscaping truck while riding his bicycle on Baker Street. Knight, according to a family friend, has been released from the hospital Thursday and will continue his recovery from home. “Chris [Knight] is coming home [Thursday],” said Traci Longa, a Foxborough resident and family friend of the Knights. “He still has more work to do for his recovery but will be much happier at home. The Foxborough community has come together in support of resident Christopher Knight and his family after the 12-year-old was struck by a truck Monday while riding his bicycle on Baker Street.
