Two Hour Delayed Opening For Foxborough Public Schools, Feb. 3

Foxborough Public Schools will have a delayed opening tomorrow.

Wednesday 9:00 p.m. Foxborough Public Schools will have a two hour delay tomorrow, opening at 9:30 a.m. There will be no AM Kindergarten and no Pre-School classes tomorrow. Foxboro Regional Charter and Bishop Feehan High School have also announced a two hour delay for students. Wednesday 2:00 p.m. According to the National Weather Service, the temperature is set to drop between 4 and 5 p.m. along the South Shore and in Southeastern Massachusetts. The temperature could drop from the mid-30s to the lower 20s within an hour, forecasters said. Foxborough Schools Closed Thursday, January 27

Foxborough Public Schools are closed today due to the snowstorm.  School Superintendent Christopher Martes made the call early this morning. Roadways and sidewalks are sill in the process of being cleared. The Foxboro Regional Charter School is also closed today. The Massachuseets Emergency Management Agency is reporting this morning that over 4,646 customers are without power, mostly in Plymouth and Norfolk counties. By end of morning, Foxborough is expected to receive eight to 12 inches of snow as reported by the National Weather Service.  The winter storm warning is in effect for Eastern Massachusetts from 4 p.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Thursday.
