FOXBOROUGH CBS Scene Serves Special Beer for One Fund Boston CBS Scene raised money for the One Fund Boston this week through sales of a rare Wormtown Brewing Co. beer tapped Wednesday to honor the one-month anniversary of the bombings at the Boston Marathon. The first pour of the beer, 4:09 pale ale from Wormtown Brewing Co., occurred at 4:09 p.m. Wednesday and the first sale came shortly thereafter with 100 percent of the proceeds going to The One Fund. “This is pretty phenomenal,” said Walpole resident Steve Dion after purchasing the first 4:09 pale ale at CBS Scene. “I just happened to walk into this [fundraiser]. Local business owners on Route 1 and at Patriot Place are again gearing up for a weekend full of football as nearly 70,000 fans will travel to Foxborough Sunday to watch the New England Patriots take on the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.

Foxborough's Board of Selectmen will hold public hearings for six different local establishments this month to address alleged liquor license violations.
November is going to be a busy month for Foxborough's Board of Selectmen as it plans to hold liquor license violation hearings for six different establishments in town. The six Foxborough businesses allegedly in violation of their liquor licenses are: The first three hearings will be held Monday at Town Hall; beginning with Showcase Live at 7:30 p.m. Hearings with Bar Louie and Foxboro Mandarin will follow. Then on Nov. 20, selectmen will hold hearings for Waxy O'Connor's, CBS Scene and Blue Finn Lounge at Bass Pro Shops. The six establishments allegedly served alcohol to a 19-year-old woman working with police during compliance checks of 33 licensed bars in town on Sept. 27, according to an Oct. 25 article in The Sun Chronicle. Members of the New England Revolution will stop by CBS Scene in Foxborough, Mass., on Wednesday, April 11, as the official 2012 Pub Tour continues. Revolution players Flo Lechner, Lee Nguyen and A.J. Soares are scheduled to appear at CBS Scene (200 Patriot Place, Foxborough, Mass.) from 7-9 p.m. There is no cover charge for the Revs' event and it is open to the general public. Fans in attendance will be eligible for giveaways and have the opportunity to win tickets to a Revolution home game. The Rev Girls will also attend the event.
