Foxborough Struggles With Turnovers in Loss At Attleboro

The Warriors turned the ball over four times leading to 21 Bombardier points in a 27-0 loss on the road at Tozier-Cassidy Field.

Last year’s meeting was a classic that came down to the very last play. This year, at a rain-soaked Tozier-Cassidy Field, the Attleboro High Bombardiers (2-1) took care of business much quicker in a 27-0 victory over the Foxboro High Warriors. Attleboro’s defense forced four Warrior turnovers and the offense turned them into 21 points while Foxboro missed two golden opportunities to put points on the board in the first half and never got things going after the break. With the rain pouring down, conditions were ripe for turnovers and it was the Bombardiers that took full advantage. After senior Tyler Lindsey fumbled a punt in the 1st quarter Foxboro had the ball inside the Attleboro 10 only for senior quarterback Nick Sestito to lose it. …
