Bass Pro Shops ‘Open for Business’ Sunday After Saturday’s Fire
Walter Grammer, manager of Bass Pro Shops in Patriot Place, thanked the efforts of Foxborough’s Police and Fire Departments and Patriot Place personnel for their quick response to Saturday night’s fire.
Saturday night’s two-alarm fire at Bass Pro Shops did not prevent the store from opening on time Sunday morning. In fact, due to the efforts of Foxborough Police, Fire and Patriot Place personnel, Bass Pro Shops manager Walter Grammer said the store was able to open a little bit earlier than its 10 a.m. Sunday schedule. “We are very thankful for the quick response of the fire department,” said Grammer. “They were able to contain everything expediently and we were able to close the store [Saturday] night, buttoned up tight and secure and open up a little early [Sunday] so that was great.” Foxborough Police and Fire Departments responded to Bass Pro Shops shortly before 9 p.m. after Patriot Place personnel reported smoke from the back of the…
