Three Foxborough schools were each awarded F.A.C.E.S. grants Monday.
The non-profit community organization F.A.C.E.S. (Foxborough: A Community Enriching Schools) continued its mission to enhance student achievement and development throughout Foxborough’s Public Schools Monday by awarding several grants to the following schools: Foxborough High School Ahern Middle School Burrell Elementary School F.A.C.E.S. awarded $22,159 in grants this year and since its inception in 2008 has awarded Foxborough schools 54 grants totaling $188,896.02. “Every year we are privileged to hear about the grants F.A.C.E.S. provides to our students,” said school committee member Bruce Gardner. It's Election Day across the country today. In Foxborough, we want to know who has won your vote at the polls. Tell us in the comments section.

Foxborough Town Clerk Robert Cutler expects roughly 85 percent of the town's registered voters to get out to Ahern Middle School and vote in Tuesday's election. Will you be one of the 85 percent? The ninth annual Relay for Life of Greater Foxboro will be held June 22-23 at the Ahern Middle School track.
This weekend, for the ninth consecutive year, The Relay for Life of Greater Foxboro will continue its fight against cancer and walk the Ahern Middle School Track. The walk – and fight – against cancer begins on Friday, June 22 with opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. and concludes Saturday with closing ceremonies scheduled for 10:30 a.m. The American Cancer Society’s annual event gives people the opportunity to “celebrate those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back against this heartbreaking disease.” Last year, teams participating in the Relay for Life of Greater Foxboro raised $103,816 and have raised more than $1 million since its inception nine years ago.
