The Mabelle M. Burrell Elementary School, named after Mabelle Burrell in dedication of her passion for education, prides itself on maintaining a "strong curricular program." Students are able to participate in additional classes such as music, health and world language. The Burrell School has woven itself into the fabric of the community by participating in the Each One Reach One Program and the Council on Aging Volunteer Program. Students are encouraged to give back to the town through events that support the "Discretionary Fund and other charitable organizations."
