Your Guide: McGinty Family Fun Day Returns to the Common

The McGinty family returns to Foxborough on Sept. 14 when the annual McGinty Family Fun Day is held in memory of Michael McGinty, who was killed who was killed in the attacks at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001 at the age of 42.

While Michael is no longer with us, his memory lives on in this event featuring food and fun for the whole family.

Entry to the event is $5 per person and $20 for the whole family. The day starts at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m.

Live music will be provided by Thirty 6 Red and Odyssey and the Brass Daddies. Lowen's Deli will once again provide the food.

Other attractions include: a moon walk, crafts, face-painting, tattoos, cookie decorating, an inflatable obstacle course, games, balloon art, a karate demonstration from Personal Best Karate, and more!

Proceeds raised from McGinty Family Fun Day will go towards the McGinty Scholarship Foundation, which is named in loving memory of Michael McGinty. The foundation awards two $2,500 scholarships each year to college-bound Foxborough residents.
