Veterans Day Celebration Today, Jaycees Info Session Later This Week

Foxboro Celebrates Veterans Day

This morning, Foxboro will once again gather to remember those who have served in the armed services and sacified for their country.

The annual Veterans Day celebration will be held at Foxboro High School on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.

Come join the celebration as the town pay tribute to the men and women of Foxboro who have stood tall each and every time their Nation called.

Keynote speaker will be MHS grad Mike Davison, Lt. Col. Ret., USAF and The Serenading Seniors will sing, The National Anthem, A Patriotic Medley, and A Tribute to the Armed Forces.

Foxboro Jaycees Info Session/New Member Orientation

Want to make positive impact on the Foxboro MA area? Ever consider joining the Foxboro Jaycees?

If you would like to learn more about how you can get involved in your community, please join us for a brief Info Session at  South Foxboro Community Center on Wednesday Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. to become more familiar with what the Foxboro Jaycees can offer you. Anyone over 18 is welcome.

The purpose of this orientation is to give an overview of our chapter, our main procedures and processes, projects, budget, and roles & responsibilities of board positions. Often we don't get the chance to cover all the background details during the monthly meetings, so this session will help you better understand what is going on in the chapter and give you the opportunity to meet each other and ask questions in a smaller group setting.

Feel free to stay for the regular monthly meeting afterwards, so that you can get an even better idea what we are all about! Or, if you only have time for the info session, that is fine too, you are not required to stay for both.
