Patriots to Honor Volunteerism at the Invensys Foxboro Branch Oct. 4

Josh Barrett, Devin McCourty, and Ross Ventrone are visiting the Foxboro YMCA childcare program to honor celebrating volunteerism.

The New England Patriots will honor volunteerism at the Invensys Foxboro Branch on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 9:30am featuring current players: Devin McCourty, Josh Barrett and Ross Ventrone.

The players will visit the Foxboro YMCA Childcare Center to read books and take part in a craft with the children. The visit will begin with a welcome and comments from the players about volunteerism and the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation’s season-long initiative called: "Celebrate Volunteerism."

This initiative will focus on different volunteer areas throughout the season, with the goal of sharing examples of dedicated volunteers, building awareness of the need for volunteering, identifying and educating others about volunteer opportunities and inspiring New Englanders to follow Myra Kraft's example of becoming a life-long volunteer.

She lit up the room with a warmth and compassion that underscored the Kraft’s commitment to giving back and caring for others. The Hockomock Area YMCA is proud of our relationship the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation and feel honored to be highlighted as an organization where volunteerism thrives.”
