Fundraiser to be Held Friday in Foxborough for Family of Norton Girl Killed in Crash

Foxborough's Cheer Factor High Performance Training Center will hold a fundraiser for the family of Angel Pina, the 12-year-old Norton girl killed in last week's car accident on Rte. 24.

It has been eight days since Angel Pina, 12 of Norton, was killed following a .

Pina was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident, according to state police and the crash also hospitalized two other Norton women, including Pina's mother, Sandra Ouellette.

The Foxborough community knew Pina through cheerleading and on Friday will hold a fundraiser in her memory and to help Pina’s family, who is recovering from the horrific accident.

Pina was part of and spent two years at the 69 East Belcher Rd. training center in Foxborough. On Friday, Cheer Factor will be holding a tumbling fundraiser from 6-8 p.m. in town to help Pina's family.

All donations will be accepted and anyone at the gym is welcome to tumble.

"Our hearts are broken for her family and her extended families at Cheer Nation and Cheer Factor, at this very difficult time," a release from Cheer Nation states.

said Robin DelGreco in an e-mail to Foxborough Patch: “This tragedy has been hard on the gym as Angel performed here for two years.”

Pina leaves behind many friends and family, including three siblings and her mother, Ouellette, who was driving the vehicle at the time of the tragic accident last Thursday.

Pina was described as being a talented athlete who enjoyed cheerleading.

"Angel Pina was a caring, kind hearted member of our junior level 1 team at Cheer Nation,” Erica Carbonneau, coach of Cheer Nation, told Norton Patch. “She will be greatly missed. She loved the sport of cheerleading and enjoyed meeting all of the athletes in her new cheer family.”
