VIDEO: Community Day of Caring in Foxborough

Watch the following newly added video. The Invensys and Rotary Club's "Community Day of Caring" was held on Nov. 3.

During a week where to support each other through the duration of the October snowstorm power outage, came another shining example of just how dedicated businesses and residents are to serving the community.

Approximately 80 Invensys employees, volunteers and Rotary Club members came together on Thursday, Nov. 3 for a "Community Day of Caring" in Foxborough.

Invensys employees pledged over 600 hours of community service to the town. Employees and Rotarians were spread throughout Foxborough working on various community service projects.

"Our goal is to be a bigger part of the community," said Russell Jackson of Invensys as he worked on repairing the Steamer Shed. "We raised $1000 between the Rotary Club and Invensys and this particular project is something that the Historical Society would not have been able to get done without this."

  • Cocasset River Recreation Area - Replacement/Repair of Bridges, maintenance on the trails
  • Trail Maintenance on the Canoe River Wilderness area
  • Restoration of trails from Hurricane Irene at the Gilbert State Forest
  • Park Maintenance at Kersey Point Park
  • Replace Steel door, power wash at the Foxboro Concession Stand
  • Building steel railings along front and back entrances at the Foxboro senior center
  • Rough clean and stain textured plywood exterior ceiling and trim at the Steamer Shed
