60 Donors Give Blood in Foxborough to Boost Brigham and Women's Blood Supply

This drive was especially important in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings.

To mark National Volunteer Week, the Brigham and Women’s/Dana Farber Blood Mobile visited Foxborough on April 25th.

Over 60 donors, made up of business leaders, healthcare staff, patients, and the general public, turned out at this important drive, which replenishes the blood supply at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This was especially important in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings.
