ORIGINAL STORY -

The local forecast for Saturday morning has forced the Foxborough Founders Day Planning Committee and several town officials to delay the start of all morning events by one hour.

This includes field setup, parade assembly and the start of the parade itself.

“It is our intent to provide additional time for the storm to pass and to allow for sufficient drying out of the Booth Field location prior to it being used for field activities,” Founders Day committee said via its website. “These delays only affect the events scheduled prior to noon on Saturday.”
