Warriors Field Hockey Eliminated In Postseason Play
The Warriors are eliminated 1-0 in their first round match against Cohasset.
The Warriors suffered a horrible case of déjá vu against Cohasset. Similar to last year, the Warriors found themselves down 1-0 to their first round opponent. Also like last year, the Warriors could not find the equalizer and fell to the Cohasset Skippers 1-0.
While both team had chances, only 1 was successful. The Warriors tried to strike early when Kelsie Morahan almost scored from the right corner of the circle but came up empty.
The Skippers scored at 12:31 of the first half when Angela Cipolla scored from the top of the circle to give Cohasset a critical 1-0 lead.

Despite multiple chances in the second half, the Skippers did everything they could to maintain the small lead. Diving saves and blocks near the goal were the norm as the Skippers advanced to the quarterfinals of the MIAA Division II South Sectional FieldHockey Tournament.
The Warriors will end the season with a 11-6-2 record with 24 points.
