Medway Runs Over Foxboro Football

If there was one team that should have been the Division 4 South tournament, it was likely Medway who was on the outside looking in due to a lack of at-large spots. Unfortunately the Foxboro Warriors learned first hand that the Mustangs were as tough as any tournament team.

Medway took advantage of a strong counter, breaking into Foxboro territory with a 63-yard run with 4:00 minutes left in the first.

Three plays later, Anthony Parchesky picked up the first of his four touchdowns to give Medway a 7-0 lead with 2:51 left in the first.

Parchesky also picked up two more touchdowns with 7:09 and 33 seconds left in the first half.

Down 14-0 in the second quarter, the Warriors were able to drive down to the Medway 15-yard line but an interception by the Mustangs ended the drive.

Up 21-0, Medway got into scoring position again off a 33-yard run that saw Parchesky power his way though the Foxboro defense to set up a six-yard touchdown run with 9:41 left in the third.

The Warriors are now 6-4 and are off until their annual Thanksgiving showdown against Mansfield.
