After getting caught on video making comments towards an Asian man dancing at an event earlier this week, Rob Gronkowski has apologized for what he said to the fan.
The man, who Gronkowski referred to as Joe, started dancing at an event featuring Gronkowski at Bar Louie on Sunday. The Patriots tight end then commented that he was told Joe could only cook rice.
"I feel bad personally and I talked to Joe and he assured me he took no offense. I know others did and I apologize to those who took offense," Gronkowski told reporters on Friday. "He's a good guy and a friend of mine."
When asked if it was frustrating to see the videos appear online, Gonkowski replied, "I'm here to talk about the Carolina Panthers."
The Patriots head to Charlotte this weekend for a Monday night matchup against the Panthers.
