The Foxborough High School varsity volleyball team swept in three sets -- the last two by five total points -- here Friday.
Foxborough won 25-14, 25-23 and 25-22 -- spoiling Sharon's home opener.
"I'm very disappointed that our first showing in front of the home crowd was not better," Sharon head coach David Philips said.

Foxborough (1-2) won its first match of 2011.
"The big factor was our on-court movement," head coach Dan Damish said.

"We changed our defense a little bit, and we communicated well. Everybody knew their role and their responsibility on the team."
Sharon (2-2) plays three times next week:
- Monday, at King Philip, at 5:15 p.m.
- Wednesday, at Attleboro, at 5:15 p.m.
- Friday, at Stoughton, at 5 p.m.
Foxborough travels to Attleboro at 5:45 p.m. Monday.
