Foxborough's Liz Holmes Wins Hockomock League Cross Country Title

The Foxborough High School sophomore won her first Hockomock League Cross Country title Saturday with a time of 18:39.15.

Foxborough High School sophomore Liz Holmes was the heavy favorite entering Saturday's 2012 George King Hockomock Cross Country Championships and she did not disappoint, winning the league title in the girls' race with a time of 18:39.15.

Attleboro's Shelby Cuddeback finished second with a time of 19:19.56. As for team results, Franklin won the girls' cross country title at Borderland State Park in Easton while Mansfield won the boys' title.
