Foxborough's Jordan Bayuk Commits to Bowdoin College

The Xaverian Brothers High School defensive tackle and offensive lineman has committed to playing football for the Polar Bears next fall.

Foxborough native Jordan Bayuk was one of five Xaverian Brothers High School seniors to sign commitments last week, officially advancing their football careers next fall to the collegiate level.

After impressive careers at Xaverian, Bayuk, a defensive tackle and offensive tackle for the Hawks, signed a National Letter of Intent for Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.The 6-foot-2, 250-pound tackle is expected to suit up for the Polar Bears in the fall.

  • Mo Hurst, Jr. of Canton, committed to the University of Michigan
  • Hunter Taute of Norfolk, comitted to Bryant University
  • Ray Gobbi of Brockton, committed to Merrimack College
  • Stephen Cesso of Canton, committed to St. Lawrence University

“Myself and our entire football staff were privileged to have the opportunity to work with these fine young athletes,” says Athletic Director and head football coach Charlie Stevenson, “and we certainly wish them the very best of success as they move forward in their football lives.”
