Foxborough's Arnold Puts Up Points at UMass-Lowell

Foxborough's Derek Arnold already has 11 points in 13 games for the University of Massachusetts-Lowell ice hockey team.

Foxborough's Derek Arnold is off to a strong start to his sophomore season for the University of Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks' men's ice hockey team.

In 13 games, the forward has scored six goals and added five assists for 11 points, including three power play goals.

The River Hawks will be hosting Boston College Friday, Dec. 9, at the Tsongas Center at 7 p.m. in a Hockey East contest.

Arnold was a standout at Foxborough High before playing for the Waterloo Blackhawks in the United States Junior Hockey League where he had 20 goals and 39 assists.
