Foxborough Hockey Opens D3 South State Tourney vs. Silver Lake in Fall River Monday
Warriors are seeded 25th in MIAA Division 3 South Sectional State Tournament.
The Foxborough High School hockey team clinched its second consecutive postseason berth on Feb. 13 with a 3-0 win over Tri-County and on Saturday learned they would be opening tournament play against Silver Lake in Fall River on Monday, Feb. 25.
Foxborough (7-12-1) earned the 25th and last seed in the MIAA Division 3 South Sectional State Tournament, drawing Silver Lake (14-5-3), the tournament's eighth seed, in the preliminary round on Monday, Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. in Fall River.
The Warriors faced Silver Lake twice in the regular season and lost both contests by scores of 7-0 (Dec. 22) and 9-2 (Feb. 4).
