Foxborough Girls’ Lax Earns 6th Seed in MIAA D2 South State Tourney

The state’s high school girls’ lacrosse tournament pairings are out and Foxborough has earned the sixth seed with a 17-2-1 record this season.

As a result, the Warriors will host a first round MIAA Division 2 South Sectional State Tournament game on Tuesday at 4 p.m. against the winner of Saturday’s No. 22 Dedham at No. 11 Ashland match.

For the second consecutive season, Foxborough won the Hockomock League Davenport Division title and fields an offense that features two career 100-goal scorers in Katie Notarangelo and Ellen Decker. Foxborough finished the regular season on a 6-1-1 run.

The Warriors did not face Dedham in the regular season but traveled to Ashland and defeated the Clockers, 12-8 on May 8th.
