Foxboro's Austin DeCarr Makes Top 100 High School Baseball Prospects List

Foxboro native Austin DeCarr was recently named to Nine Baseball’s list of the top 100 high school prospects in the 2014 MLB draft yesterday according to the Boston Globe.

DeCarr, who was listed at No. 76, was also the highest ranked prospect from Massachusetts on the list.

According to Nine Baseball’s Head Scouting Director Jeff Sullivan, DeCarr has a fastball that can reach the 91-93 mph range and has shown improvement in his breaking ball.

DeCarr is committeed to attend Clemson University after spending a year at the Salisbury School. He graduated high school from Xaverian High School.
