Chalk up another loss for the Foxboro Jrs after a tough loss to Weston, 4-3.
Starting pitcher Tim Freitas was solid, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits in five innings. Freitas made opponents sweat for the first 3 innings not allowing one hit, while allowing only two runners to reach base.
Foxboro would strike in the first with an RBI base hit from Matt Buchanon, scoring Eric Desimone who beat out an infield hit.

Continuing the attack in the second, Jeff Perillo ripped a single to center. Craig Sarro would reach on an error advancing Perillo to third. Perillo would score on a sac fly by third baseman Zach Downs. With Sarro advancing to second, Cam Nagle smashed a liner up the middle to score another.
Weston battled back in the top of the fourth with three straight hits including a two-bagger that would score one. With runners on second and third, Weston would single scoring one, then add another on a throwing error, tying the game.

Action would stall until the top of the sixth when Weston would string together two hits including a double that scored the go ahead run. Matt Sepe relieved Freitas and put out the fire, keeping it close.
Down to their last frame, Post 93 couldn’t produce the tying run, stranding a runner on second.
The loss is Foxboro’s tenth, they will play Newton tonight at Foxboro High School.
