Foxboro Boys Soccer and Canton Draw in Defensive Battle

The final score may have been 0-0 but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. With chances by both the Foxboro Warriors and the Canton Bulldogs stopped by great defense and solid goalkeeping, both teams were forced to take a scoreless tie in the Davenport Division Matchup.

“It’s a very balanced game throughout. I thought we had our chances and they had their chances. Both placed great in my mind,” Foxboro head coach Pat Nash said.

A strong effort by Foxboro goalkeeper Nick Adair (8 saves) along with a defense led by freshman outside back AJ Bubencik kept the Bulldogs frustrated and off the scoreboard though out the evening.
