Athletes of the Week: Foxboro Girl Warriors
The Warriors and the Fireworks went head to head in the championship.
The Foxboro Girl Warrior soccer team, playing at Forekicks sports complex, won the championship game in their division this season. Coaches Michael McCabe and Matt Carroll led their team to victory.
The final game was played against the Foxboro Fireworks coached By Jim Mollica and Maryellen Cullity.
"Both teams played a great game and were equally matched," said coach McCabe.

The final game was close, with an ending score of 1 to 0.
"Every parent and coach was proud of how every girl played on both teams," McCabe said.
