The low down on camps and activities for Foxborough's April vacation.

Spring vacation this year for Foxborough Schools runs April 16-20.

Foxborough and its surrounding towns offer a plethora of camps and activities to keep your children entertained.

April Extreme Sports Combo Clinic at Mass Premier Courts in Foxborough. Mass Premier Sports is offering a clinic April 17-20 for ages 4-10 years of age. The clinic includes a variety of sports, obstacle courses, fun daily contests and games and a moonwalk. They offer both half-day and full-day options and the price of the clinic ranges from $55-200, depending on age and hours.

Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary in Sharon. Moose Hill is offering a camp for children ages three to 12 years this April vacation week with both half-day and full-day options at $6 per hour. This is a great option for children who enjoy exploration and outdoor activities.

Frenzy in Norton. Frenzy, an indoor play center, is offering a half-day camp this vacation week from 9 a.m. to noon. The camp will include a craft and lunch at $25 per child, per day.

Activity Options Include:

Story Hour at Frenzy in Norton. Along with a half-day camp, Frenzy is also offering an extra special story hour during April vacation week that includes books on Mother Earth. Children will also be able to get seeds and decorate their own pot for planting.  

Creation Station & Picture Opportunities at Patriot Place in Foxborough. On April 16 at the Activity Center at Patriot Place, children can design a superhero badge. Also, there will be opportunities for children to take pictures with Tom Bady’s 2007-2010 MVP trophies from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (with paid admission to The Hall), as well as opportunities to take pictures on the field (which is free with a donation to Cradles to Crayons).

Poem in Your Pocket Day at Boyden Library. During April Vacation week, children are invited to decorate a poetry pocket and select a poem they like or write their own. Then, on April 26, annual “Poem in your pocket day,” kids are reminded to share their poem with friends, family and library staff!

Meet Otto the Therapy Dog at Boyden Library in Foxborough. On April 16, "Otto the Therapy Dog" will visit the library at 11 a.m., for ages 4 and up. Along with Otto’s visit, there will be a story and lesson on how therapy dogs, such as Otto, are trained. Registration is required for this event.

Foxborough and its surrounding towns offer many great opportunities this April vacation for children to participate in camps and activities. Not to mention all the wonderful offerings of spring itself.

Just step out your door and into your backyard and enjoy free fun, such as, Easter egg hunts, Spring-weather-exploration and journaling, hikes, picnics and sporting activities.
