School Cleanup Day is Planned in Foxborough

Clean up day will take place on April 16.

Foxborough's National Honor Society will hold a Cleanup Day on April 16.

The 2011 National Honor Society project, labeled Cleanup Day, was presented to the school committee on April 4 by Foxborough High senior Eddie Lincoln.

Foxborough students will spend their Saturday removing trash on school grounds and picking up trash on nearby roads and sidewalks.

The purpose of Cleanup Day is to help the environment and to ensure clean school grounds. 

Students will use the dumpsters, located on school grounds, to throw away all trash collected.

Spring sports teams, National Honor Society members, Ahern Middle school students, elementary students and volunteers will participate in Cleanup Day.
