The Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCue) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.) Hold Their 2011 Technology Conference on Wednesday, Oct. 26 and Thursday, Oct. 27, at Gillette.

More than 1500 Massachusetts teachers and administrators from across Massachusetts, including Foxborough, will be at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on Wednesday and Thursday for the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.) 2011 Technology Conference.

Governor Deval Patrick will attend the conference on Thursday morning, and deliver public remarks.

MassCUE and M.A.S.S. are recognized nationally for their efforts to help pre-K through post-secondary educators best use and enhance learning through technology.   This year’s conference, which has the highest registered attendance to date, has been growing year after year; the conference includes seminars, lectures, a show floor of technology vendors, and opportunities to network and share information.

“MassCUE and M.A.S.S. have developed a powerful team in running this conference,” said Annmaria Schrimpf, President of MassCUE in a press release.   “We are working hard, and we are greatly encouraged in how the conference is growing, and the attention it is receiving on a national level.   As schools and school districts face more budget restraints – and as use of technology becomes ever more vital to education and the workforce, and the competitiveness of the U.S. – an increasing premium is placed on how educators use technology to teach, and how they teach students to use technology.”
