Kominsky Resigns From Foxborough School Committee
According to a report in the Sun Chronicle, Foxborough school committee member Kate Kominsky has resigned from the board, effective June 30.
Foxborough school committee member Kate Kominsky submitted her letter of resignation to the board after Monday's meeting, according to the Sun Chronicle.
Kominsky had just run for reelection to the board unopposed. Her resignation takes place June 30. Both the school committee and the selectmen will come up with a replacement by a joint decision until the next election. Kominsky was nominated as chairman of the board at Monday's meeting, but didn't get enough votes to take over. Beverley Lord will be the new chairman.
