Foxborough Regional Charter School's Class of 2011

Congratulations to the class of 2011.

Foxborough Regional Charter School seniors, faculty, family and friends, gathered on Thursday night, June 9, to witness their seniors take the next big step in their lives.

Foxborough Regional Charter School graduation was held at the Orpheum Theater in Foxborough. Executive Director of the Foxborough Regional Charter School, Mark Logan, expressed his sincerest congrats to all the graduates and their accomplishments. The Class of 2011 had twenty eight (28) graduating seniors and was the first graduating class to complete their entire education, Grades K-12 at Foxborough Regional Charter School.

Foxborough Regional Charter School Valedictorian, Anna Marie Civitarese, is a member of the National Honor and Spanish National Honor Societies.

Salutatorian, Jessica Leigh Oulton , is also a member of the National Honor & Spanish National Honor Societies.

Marie will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the fall and Oulton will be attending Mount Holyoke.

The Foxborough Regional Charter School class of 2011 had a long list of  achievements.

The class of 2011 will be attending colleges throughout New England as well as Maryland.  Many students received offers of admission from schools including Stonehill College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston University, Worcester Polytechnic University, Roger Williams University, Western New England College, Tulane University, Bentley University, Clark University, Quinnipiac University,  Mount Holyoke College, Temple University, Bryant University, Salve Regina University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Suffolk University, and Simmons College. 
 
Five FRCS seniors were accepted into college honors programs. Nine students were awarded the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship, which is based on 10th grade MCAS scores.  Six students received one or more Presidential, Trustee, or Dean's scholarships. Over half of the class received merit awards to one or more colleges. 

The last senior event was held on Thursday morning, June 9. The annual Senior breakfast is a traditional activity held during senior week. The senior breakfast exemplifies the service mission of the Foxborough Regional Charter School.

Foxborough Regional Charter School is a K-12, college preparatory, public school located in Foxborough. The school currently enrolls 1,180 students from 20 neighboring communities including Attleboro, Avon, Brockton, Canton, Easton, Foxborough, Mansfield, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Norfolk, North Attleboro, Norton, Norwood, Plainville, Sharon, Stoughton, Walpole, West Bridgewater, and Wrentham.
