Caroline Baughan's fourth grade class at Taylor Elementary School celebrated Read Across America Day Friday by Skyping with a fellow fourth grade class in Mobile, Alabama.

A classroom of Foxborough elementary school students celebrated National Read Across America Day – and Dr. Seuss’ birthday – Friday by reading The Lorax before interacting with fourth graders in Mobile, Alabama via Skype.

Mrs. Caroline Baughan’s fourth grade class at the Taylor School connected with a Dodge Elementary School classroom in Alabama to talk about what their communities and schools are doing to recycle.

The two classrooms also talked about climate and school hours – Dodge Elementary School in session for one hour longer than Foxborough with no recess – among other topics.
