With school only weeks away, a new addition to Foxboro High School will soon be complete. Work recently began on the school's new turf field which will stand where the baseball field once stood.
The field was made possible due to a grant from the NFL, private donations, and an appropriation approved by voters at last December's Special Town Meeting.
To replace the lost baseball field, a new one along with a new softball field will be constructed behind the school.
Construction on the turf field is expected to be completed by mid-October according to superintendent Debra Spinelli.
