DA's Keys To The Match

Damon Amendolara shares his thoughts on the Revs upcoming match with FC Toronto. Read DA's thoughts on this game.

Damon Amendolara is the Sideline Reporter for the Revs broadcasts on Comcast SportsNet New England. He works with Announcer Brad Feldman and Color Analyst Jay Heaps during the matches. He can also be heard weeknights on The D.A. Show on 98.5 The Sports Hub. I asked Damon to share his keys for Wednesday Night's game between the Revs and FC Toronto.  Here below are "DA’s Keys To The Match".

DA: It's going to be a strange night at Gillette on Wednesday. Game 7 of the Stanley Cup will be happening at the same time, add to that a mid-week game, and the crowd will likely be one of the smallest of the season. So can the Revs make sure they remain focused on the task at hand, even if they don't get the normal home-field energy?

The offense is key for the Revs, and continues to have a spotlight on it. The Revs have really struggled to score in the last month of the season. Coach Steve Nicol has talked about needing reinforcements, but it's still up to the guys playing to make that happen. Last match they got a bad break scoring-wise when a PK was saved, but the biggest key for the Revs is remaining confident. They are scuffling a bit right now and need to remain mentally sharp. I think we'll see a solid effort against Toronto FC.
