U.S. Senate Democratic Candidates Debate Tonight

The debate is set for 7 p.m. at UMass Lowell.

The six Democratic U.S Senate candidates, looking to take on Republican U.S. Sen. Scott Brown next year, will come face to face tonight in a debate being held at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

According to a UMass-Lowell/Boston Herald poll, voters are most interested in hearing more on the current economic situation and are divided on giving in-sate tuition rates to illegal immigrants.

Democrat Elizabeth Warren is currently 30 points ahead of her five Democratic challengers, the Boston Herald reports. Representative Niki Tsongas endorsed Warren Monday in Lowell.
