The finalists for the town manager position will soon be announced according to search committee chairman John Spinney.
“I think we’re getting some good applicants and this will be a fruitful endeavor,” Spinney told the selectmen at Tuesday’s meeting.
Of the 21 resumes sent to the committee by the Collins Center, nine have been considered for interviews. The screening committee has held 60-minute interviews with six candidates with the last three to be held Wednesday evening.
Once the interviews are done, the Collins Center will conduct the background checks, reference checks, and educational checks.
On Jan. 21, the checks are expected to be completed with finalists to be presented to the selectmen that evening.
