Selectmen Agenda: Billboard, Town Manager Salary and Town Counsel Search

The Foxborough Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday, June 26 at 6:45 p.m. in the Andrew A. Gala, Jr. Meeting Room of Town Hall.

The Foxborough Board of Selectmen will open Tuesday’s meeting in executive session at 6:45 p.m. to release meeting minutes and discuss collective bargaining. The selectmen are expected to open the meeting to the public at 7 p.m. and begin with citizen input.

At 7:05 p.m., BOS chair James J. DeVellis will provide his update followed by a discussion at 7:15 p.m. with Dan Murphy and representatives of regarding the Billboard/Water and Sewer agreement.

At approximately 7:45 p.m., the BOS will discuss Town Manager Kevin Paicos’ goals and objectives.

Following that discussion, Paicos is expected to discuss the citizen input policy.

At approximately 8:25 p.m., the BOS and Paicos will discuss the Town Manager’s salary and hold further discussion on the Town Counsel search. At last week's meeting, the

Paicos is then expected to discuss street lights before the BOS review the following action items:

  • Review BOS meeting minutes for June 12
  • Building Commissioner Bill Casabarra requests the waiver of certain permit fees or portions of fees for the construction of the Municipal Water Treatment Facility.
  • Kim S. Gainsboro of the Alcohol Beverages Control Commission requests a hearing be held by the ABCC on Tuesday, Aug. 18 regarding alleged violations at The Country Store, 212 North St.
  • BOS are expected to accept donations totaling $970 from the Cow Chip Bingo event at Foxborough Founders Day; Donations of $1,500 from the St. Alban’s Masonic Angel Fund to the Recreation Gift Fund; Donations of $3,900 from the Lakeview Pailion Charitable Foundation to the Library Gift Fund for renewal of numerous museum passes; Donation of $350 from Kenneth Elovitz to the Library Gift Fund for pass renewal to Providence Children’s Museum.
  • Paicos requests the BOS release deed for a portion of Oak Street.
