Fmr. Town Manager Paicos Vying for Northfield Interim Town Manager Position

It didn't take long for former Foxboro town manager Kevin Paicos to apply for a new job, even if it's a temporary one. The Easton resident is one of two finalist for Northfield's interim town administrator position according to the Recorder.

Due to income and time constraints placed on their pensions by state law, both Paicos and fellow candidate Joseph Kellogg of Sandisfield are applying to only be the interim manager. Neither have a desire to take on the job full time.

Interviewing with the Northfield selectboard, Paicos said he is done with Foxboro on a full-time basis and could start immediately.

The 2 1/2 hour drive would be a hike for Paicos, but he says he would find an apartment in the area to reside in during the work week. He added that he would be able to stay on as long as the town needed him to while they search for a new town administrator.

Paicos added that he would be happy to help with the search and assist the new town manager get acquainted with the job.
