-The Foxborough Board of Selectmen voted 5-0 to re-open the bidding process for town counsel applicants.

-Approved by a 5-0 vote to approved the change of location of Smiley Stores (Hopes & Grapes) from 16A to 30 Commercial Street and approved a change of operating hours.

-Foxborough police chief Edward O'Leary and DPW head Roger Hill are working on a solution to the traffic problems on Oak Street.

-Effective May 1, the Foxborough Committee for Disabled Citizens will be changed to Foxborough Commission on Disability.

-The selectmen accepted the resignation of Daniel Iagatta III as the Foxborough Southeastern Regional Vocational School Committee member. Iagatta sent the selectmen a letter announcing his resignation because of health concerns. The board thanked him for service to the school committee.

-By a 5-0 vote, the board accepted two grants from the 9-11 Agency to fund the central emergency dispatch center. A basic support grant of $42,285 and a training grant of $9,451 will be given to the town.

-The selectmen closed the town meeting warrant to the public after hearing from town officials and town board members on the articles to be included in the annual town meeting.

-Town manager Kevin Paicos was absent from the meeting because he is spending two weeks with his military unit in Florida.
