Foxborough Selectmen Remain Mum on Absent Town Manager

After nearly 2.5 hours in executive session, the selectmen had little updates regarding the ongoing situation involving town manager Kevin Paicos.

"We are going to release a statement in a couple of weeks. I can't tell you more than that," chairman Mark Sullivan said.

For the time being, town clerk Bob Cutler will remain the interim town manager.

In June, Paicos named Cutler the interim town manager while he was away on military leave. Since then, Paicos has not returned to work and no explanation has been given for his extended absence.

Paicos was hired as Foxborough's town manager in September, 2010. On May 23, 2013, the selectmen voted not to renew his contract which ends on June 30, 2014.
