"We’ve all heard about the tragedy at the Boston Marathon," said Foxborough Board of Selectmen chair James DeVellis. "Terrible tragedy ... loss of life ... for children and residents of Massachusetts and for a race that invited 80-plus countries [into Boston]  I’m sure we all have our feelings of anger, resentment."

DeVellis led the board in a 30-second moment of silence in tribute of the three dead and over 170 injured from Monday's attacks. The selectmen chair also instructed residents with American flags to fly them at half-staff until further notice.
