Selectmen Lawrence J. Harrington originally questioned the $133,000 price of the sidewalk blower.

Swanson informed the board that the blower is only produced by one company. He also said that it is important to have a sidewalk snow blower versus just a sidewalk plow because the plows do not perform well in deep snow.
