UPDATE: Foxborough Man Arrested Following Sunday's Fatal Crash

Foxborough resident Adam Cobb, 24, was arrested Sunday for his role in a motor vehicle accident that killed a motorcycle operator on Central Street, according to Foxborough Police.

A Foxborough man was arrested Sunday following a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a van at Central Street that left one dead and another with critical injuries, according to Foxborough Police.

Adam Cobb, 24, of Foxborough was arrested Sunday and charged with misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to yield to oncoming traffic, according to a press release issued by Foxborough Police. 

Foxborough Police officer John Chamberlain said Cobb was arrested "based on witness statements and physical evidence at the scene" of Sunday's accident.

The fatal motor vehicle accident occurred at approximately 4:16 p.m. at the intersection of Central and Leonard Streets, according to Foxborough Police. The accident involved a 2001 Chevrolet van operated by Cobb and a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, according to police reports. 

"The male operator of the motorcycle was transported by Mansfield Fire Department to Sturdy Hospital where he was later pronounced dead," according to the press release.

The female passenger of the Harley Davidson was airlifted to Mass General, "where she is currently in critical condition," the press release said. 

Medflight and three ambulances responded to the scene, according to BNN Rescue/Traffic. 

Foxborough Police said both victims are in their 60s and the names are being withheld pending notification of family. 

Cobb is being held on $10,000 bail pending his arraignment at Wrentham District Court Monday morning, according to Chamberlain. The accident is under investigation by the Foxborough Police Department, the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office and the Massachusetts State Police.
