State Police Investigating Foxborough Crash

The crash is under investigation.

State Police are investigating an early morning dump truck crash on I-495 north at Route 106 that resulted in a fuel spill.

At around 2:10 a.m., troopers responded to a dump truck, owned by Aggregate Industries, striking the overpass causing the dump body of the truck to separate from the rest of the vehicle. As a result, fuel spilled onto the road.

The 37-year-old driver, a Ryanham resident, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the crash but no charges have been field. Troopers were on scene until 6:15 a.m. clearing the scene of debris and the truck. Damage to the overpass appeared minimal.
