UPDATED: One Seriously Injured In I-95 Rollover

One passenger seriously injured; 4 passengers suffer minor injuries.

Five people were injured after a single-car rollover on Interstate 95 South Saturday night.

A 19-year-old Melrose woman, with a serious injury, was transported to Boston Medical Center via medical helicopter after being ejected from the vehicle during the 7:40 p.m. crash.

According to State Police, the operator in Saturday night's single-vehicle rollover in Foxborough was a 19-year-old Malden woman. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Norwood Hospital.

 The 3 other passengers, a 21-year-old Somerville man, a 21-year-old Somerville woman, and a 18-year old Malden woman, all suffered minor injuries.

According to evidence gathered by State Police, the 2001 Toyota Sienna van attempted to change lanes and lost control.

The highway was shut down for a brief period of time to accommodate a medical helicopter.

The cause of the crash, including why the van went out of control, remains under investigation by Trooper Brad W. Kessel and supporting units.
