Retirements Brings Changes to Foxborough Police Department

With two retirements in the detectives division of the Foxborough Police Department, things are beginning to look a bit different at least in the short term.

On April 30, Detective Thomas Kirrane retired after 40 years of service while Detective Brian Gallagher finished his career on June 12.

To help the two remaning detectives, officers Scott Hodson and Patrick Morrison have been assigned to the detective bureau according to the Sun Chronicle.

Overall, seven applicants will tryout for the two spots to see who best fits in the department.

It is likely that O'Leary will transition into detective work full time as he has mostly worked as the town's school resource officer.
