REPORT: Shooting Victim Succumbs to Injuries

Shawn Clark, 36, of Saugus, was reported dead at Melrose-Wakefield hospital.

A man who sustained numerous gunshot wounds during a robbery near 800 Main St. this afternoon has succumb to his injuries.

The article quotes a State Police spokesman who confirmed Shawn Clark, 36, of Saugus was pronounced dead at Melrose-Wakefield Memorial Hospital. 

As many as 5-8 gunshots were reported by witnesses, who said the vicitm was later seen laying in Main St., bleeding from the stomach.

Sorry for the loss to the whole family. Never personally never knew the kid but I know my son has talked well of him and the store. Must have been doing something right to open up a business in this day and age. Once again, very sorry for your loss and hope they catch the killer.

Paula, when I bought my house my realitor told me Malden was turning around, downtown was being overhaulted ect ect....that was 15 years ago, it sure did turn around ....the wrong way. Oh ya if you want to note some hiding spots of our great police force, just take a ride by canal st and look in the parking lots way in the back.
