Police Looking For Man Who Robbed Elderly Person

A man accused of robbing an elderly woman on Fox Hill Road is now wanted by police.

The man is described as a 5'5 Hispanic male in his 60s with dark clothing, a mustache, and salt and pepper halr who drove a black van.

According to the Foxborough police, the person knocked on the door of the home and told the woman who owns the house that he was a contractor installing a fence on a neighboring property.

"He had a very detailed storyline to make is sound believable," Foxborough police chief Ed O'Leary said.

While the person brought the homeowner out back to show her where the fence would go, a second person entered the house and stole several items. Minutes later, the person's received a phone call and said he had to go to a different job.

When the woman returned inside, she discover that cash and jewelry was taken from the home.

According to O'Leary, a similar situation has been identified in Randolph and Foxborough detectives will be checking in with police in Randolph to see if there is a connection.

Police are encouraging residents to contact the police regarding any suspicious persons approaching their homes
